About the author

Pipeline TD & Character TD with 10+ years across VFX, animation and games (MPC, DNEG, Passion Pictures, Giant Animation, EDI, Uchi VFX). Computer Science degree, C++/Qt background. I design and automate production pipelines end to end: USD-based workflows (Python, Bifrost), cross-platform Qt/PySide tools for Maya, Houdini and the major DCCs, and studio infrastructure as code — a Docker-based pipeline platform of 22 services (45 containers) that I built and operate: Ayon and Kitsu production tracking, Deadline render farm, Gitea and Epic's Lore VCS for large binary assets, SSO (Authentik/LLDAP), TPN-compliant monitoring (Prometheus, Grafana, Loki) and encrypted cloud backup. AI automation is central to my workflow: LLM-powered agents and n8n workflows that automate repetitive production tasks, QC and service integration. On the character side I specialize in rigging, muscle/cloth simulation and creature biomechanics — always physically grounded, always procedural. Core: Python (OOP), PyQt/PySide, C++/Qt, MEL, USD, Docker, git.
